When the reporter walked into the assembly workshop of the company, he saw that the robot gripper on the front right placed the workpiece on the loading table on the robot positioner, and the welding robot on the front left automatically welded according to the set program. After that, the robot immediately transferred the workpiece to the next process, and at the same time, the robot gripper grasped the workpiece. In this way, it is carried out 24 hours a day without interruption, and only two employees are required for the operation of a production line, completely replacing manual welding. In addition, the welding robot can accurately identify various types of workpieces and transfer them to the most accurate position for welding.

According to Zheng Junwei, the project leader of the forklift welding robot production line of the company, the planned single shift production capacity of the production line is 5000 sets / year, 7 sets of welding robots and 2 sets of robot grippers are used, and only 20 workers are required. Before manual welding on the production line, 65 welding technicians are required, which greatly reduces the cost.

"The company has always attached importance to R & D, and has achieved rapid development especially after settling in Liuyang manufacturing industrial base, Hunan Province." Yan Xiaojun, chairman of Changsha Huaheng Robot System Co., Ltd., said that due to the shortage of senior welders, high labor costs and difficulties in recruiting workers, many machinery manufacturing enterprises have begun to use robot intelligent automation and flexible manufacturing to replace labor. It is reported that in addition to welding, the welding robot has also been applied to assembly, handling, gluing and other fields.
